“Here, we don’t use bricks as stumbling blocks – we produce good bricks” as Torben says appropriately. And that is the reason why he works for us. Torben has been with Refratechnik since May 2015, but his connections with our company go back much further. Already as a child, he was associated with Refratechnik through his father, who worked as head of production. In his teens, Torben even worked for us during his vacations and thereby got to know the company from the roots.

He started in the shipping department as a lateral entrant, and worked his way up to deputy head of the department. Now, Torben is in charge of loading trucks and containers as well as leader of his co-workers. Hereby, his focus is on customer orientation, reliability, and innovation.

In Refratechnik, Torben appreciates the familiar working environment and the collegiality. Here, one works together and supports each other, regardless of job or function. For Torben, the work-life balance at Refratechnik is perfect.
