„For me, it was clear quite early that I didn’t want an office job. Refratechnik’s modern trainee workshop is exactly my world.“

Malina,
industrial mechanic trainee

Already as a child, Malina was fascinated by mechanics and technology, and she says that she loved taking engines apart with her father and her uncle. So it’s no wonder that with this background of enthusiasm and experience, Malina decided to start learning a trade with Refratechnik. She started working for us as an industrial mechanic trainee in 2021.

With us, Malina has the possibility to invest her technical passion for a sustainable and innovative future. She loves the modern machines, metalworking, and the technical processes.

Our refractory technologies contribute towards sustainability and are the basis for many new developments. It makes me proud to work in this field.

Hereby, gender equality in a working environment predominated by men is not a topic for Malina. Because she knows her capabilities, proves it, and is acknowledged. And because at Refratechnik, diversity and equal rights are not just catch words for a positive image, but are actively pursued by everyone in all parts of our company.

That’s why Malina concentrates on things that really matter for us: Finding modern solutions in refractory technology, which make a decisive contribution for environmental protection and for saving resources.

Malina participates in numerous projects and already now bears responsibility during her training. As a team player, she fits perfectly into our large family. And after work, Malina is our best messenger. Because hardly anyone of her acquaintances knows about Refratechnik. So she explains the importance of refractory technology in our modern society, and the role it plays in our everyday lives. And of course, that also makes her a little bit proud.
